I would bet 90% of WoW players have no clue that WoW and all the major MMOs today are simply nothing but a MUD with a GUI. Newbs.

I used to play Dragon's Fang back in the day. I don't think anyone's on anymore.

DSL (dark & shattered lands) is the only free one worth playing. If you like text, then Dragonrealms is really good; for $15/month, you get what you pay for.

I also enjoyed Federation, and view EVE-Online to be a lot like it in terms of economy.

I did attempt to sign on it yesterday, and there were a ton of characterization options that I couldn't find any information on the website about (example: what (if any) bonuses you got with each profession)

Maybe I didn't dig enough, I just kinda glanced at the site
