so i have a finger on the pulse of the drug world still, because of group meetings and stuff like that

(trust me i'm not on ROIDS ha ha)

but i've heard it coming up a LOT from younger men (18-35, usually closer to late 20's to early 30s)--
people selling and doing some kind of like "rub on" steroid and lifting weights 6 days on, 2 off... and business is supposedly good.

then i see all these people my age into the gym around here... and also i noticed a decent number of people here too are into working out now... is this pretty common, did anyone else know about it? i guess i just never really thought about it. maybe cause its a drug used for a totally different reason than other abused drugs.

i knew a couple dudes on the roids. you could definitely tell when they were and were not on them. attitudes, egos, skin and complexion all had affects from the stuff.

you can thank the baseball steroid drama of the last few years for that; it sounds like one of the kinds of steroids all the big name players that have been implicated were using, just known as "the cream" (the other kind was just called "the clear" and was basically THG). I'm sure it's probably surged in popularity with all the exposure.

there was a story about a guy who used that when working out on a mat and his son ended up using it to play on. his son started getting big and angry. they found it was from the steroid laced sweat his dad left on the mat.

also i use the rub on steroid. it doesn't seem to work if you don't lift.

i couldnt tell if it just goes on the skin and kinda works all over, or if you put it where you wanna get bigger (need a gallon for my tiny pecker ok)

but yes i was amazed that so many people picked up on the slang/etc and jumped on that conversation. they seem to actively use it, and dont consider it real drug abuse. big market for that stuff. i guess im just not a real man cause i didnt get it

sounds like they are using the creams that are typically rx'ed for low test in men (which is very common in the 40 plus crowd). I known people use them. I don't. I have no problem w/ using them correctly and intelligently--doing blood work, doing research, and using the correct drugs to counter estrogen & for coming off them. I think it is silly and stupid that they are illegal.

Would I at some point do them? I don't know. As of right now, I'm scared of needles, think there is still plenty of progress for me to make w/ out them, and scared off by the legal aspects.

The fact that people think of this in the same league as narcotics is DUMB.

I know the "Cream and Clear" was prevalent in MLB for a while due to inability to test for it and ease of use / results, but I think they have since developed testing program that would pick up these more sophisticated growth hormones

whatever this stuff is, its definitely a prescription steroid for humans. i dont know if the growth hormone stuff ISNT.. im just saying, that whatever this steroid is, its definitely illegal as hell. just based on the people talking about it, and the manner in which they were speaking in code and stuff... i know that gangsta code yo, i just didnt know that these diamond earrings called stax were roids for a minute

yes, you can buy topical steroids. Like it was said above, the cream will raise either testosterone or HGH levels. I've read some stuff that says all this HGH stuff is garbage. Testosterone will get you big, no doubt, but there's definitely a science to it, so you need to do your homework or you could really fuck yourself up. Like anything else, if you do it right, you're gonna be fine. It's the meathead juice monsters that don't cycle or do any post cycle therapy that die and/or encounter major health problems.

Really, if you know anything about lifting and/or eating right (once again, it's a science) you can achieve fairly similar results. The main benefit of the steroids is their ability to help you recover, so you can lift like crazy, take no days off, eat like shit and still get huge. Granted, it's all water weight and you'll most likely lose it, but you'll be huge nonetheless. You can tell the guys who are juicing (for the most part) because they big as hell, but bloated looking with exaggerated features.

That said, there's a million different steroids that do different things. Most just go for the ones that will throw on twenty pounds in two weeks (DBols, Test, etc)

I do remember reading about a steroid named andriol and that is a prescription steroid for old people to be used as testosterone therapy. Weight lifters liked it because it was take orally, but unlike other oral steroids, it wasn't harmful to your liver, and unlike other testosterone products, it didn't convert to estrogen, so you didn't have to worry about losing your hair, or getting acne or bitch tits.

it isn't topical, but I bet the one that your guys were talking about was similar in purpose, but probably not quite as safe

^^^who's dying? there have been a few bodybuilders that have dropped over dead from kidney failure brought on by rampant diuretic abuse, and Lyle Alzado's doctor has stated publicly that Lyle's claims of steroids causing his brain tumor were completely unsubstantiated. When you throw those out, you're not left with much to support everything that was said in D.C. to push steroids to narcotic status.
