I can pick them up from anywhere in Raleigh and maybe some places like Garner or Cary that are close by. I will also take suggestions as to where to find some for free, and I don't mean craigslist. All of those ads have expired or are in Louisburg or are pending pickup, etc. Thanks for any help.

Call a grocery store first thing in the morning. It has to be early because they crush the boxes daily after a little while.

if you want a lot find out when the grocery store recieves most of the stock and when they stock the bulk of it.
most stores get a lot of stock in 2-3 times weekly and put it up just as frequently.

or, you could just go to office max and buy some that are all uniform, and easily stack in a truck.

call Lowes either night before or really, really early in the morning (like 6) and ask for delivery. they will go through a lot of boxes in preparation for the deliveries...

assuming you want boxes the size of laundry machines and refrigerators

there's not really that many good moving boxes you can get at a grocery store. liquid laundry detergent boxes are about the only ones good for moving.
