SO GOOD

I probably liked it more than the first. Many more awesome monsters, some of which looked like they could be in Pan's Labyrinth. More Liz/Hellboy stuff as she wasn't in an asylum or whatever for half the movie this time. Abraham played a bigger role in this than the first one too it seemed.

*Slight spoiler i guess maybe just in case you don't want to know anything warning?*

There's also a new addition to the team, a german... guy made out of some smoky gas that is pretty cool and makes for some laughs.

A+++++++++++ will see in theaters again.

Im planning to watch the first one again before going to see this. Was thinking of watching some of the animated features too...if there is any benefit in watching them before seeing the new movie?

The end makes me think del Toro let some film school hack take over the last 10 minutes. Just dumb shots and fades and storytelling. When I see it again I'll see if it is analagous with comicy storytelling.

Seriously, if that broad had known paleface was going to be such an ass about taking over the world why didn't she just volunteer to get executed in his place? As if she wouldn't've died too then? No! Let's let everyone else suffer for 2 hours first!!!

^dude....i was just about to sent you a message on FB to tell you that i ended up watching it before work today... because i had to get out of the house because the AC was broken and it was like 88 degrees...i couldn't sleep last night. thankfully, it's fixed now.

i was gonna say, i'd still watch it again saturday night if you want, but I guess you already caught it too.

yeah, overall i enjoyed it. I'd give it a catch the matinee

fulfilled my fantasy needs for the movie, didn't disappoint, the youth hellboy and the very ending were pretty annoying but the characters and CGI was awesome

*spoilers*

The best part to me was the fighting with the golden army when ze german took over one of their bodies

And the ending sucked, I figured there was gonna be some way to keep Abe's girl alive.

I liked it. I will say that the interaction among the characters didn't feel as natural, for lack of a better term, to me as the first movie--but it's a minor point.

The DJ this morning on Sirius - Octane - said he hated it. Maybe he was a loser, it's at 8.2/10 on imdb now.
