I like when he rails against religious fundamentalist conservatives but then I want to punch my radio when he says "anti-capitalist environmentalists". Boortz is truly a mixed bag.

he's the only one that i can listen to that i don't always agree with.

even when he's pissing off my liberal side, he's great.

credit where credit is due, my "little" brother (25) turned me on to him, he's got both the fair tax books.

i just recently got into radio all day... most people listen to ipods at work, but we have like 400000 tiny little am/fm radios lying around with earbuds, so i started doing that.

i go straight from bob and the showgram to boortz. hahahahaha. lets make a table of what i listen to, i'll listen to anything. stupid dj shows, conservative, liberal, whatever

heres a table of what i listen to, no idea why it goes so far down, dont wanna figure out the html of it haha

TIMESHOW/PERSONSITESTATION
5am-6amwall street journalwsjthismorning.com101.1 FM
6am-10ambob and the showgrambobandtheshowgram.com105.1 FM
10am-1pmneal boortzboortz.com101.1 FM
1pm-4pmclark howardclarkhoward.com101.1 FM
4pm-4:30pmallan handelmanifitrocks.com101.1 FM
4:30pm-dinnerall things considerednpr.org88.5 FM (npr)
7pm-10pmmichael savagemichaelsavage.com101.1 FM
10pm-1amalan colmesalan.com101.1 FM

and sometimes if i'm up, i listen to john and jeff (3rd shift) on 101.1 - its like 1am to 5am

so i always have a show on that i like... that table doesnt mean that i listen 24 hours a day, just what i am listening to if its on.

BUT I AM ON BOORTZ NOW

when i was driving all day for my job I'd listen to Boortz every day.

Occasionally Clark Howard, though his show gets repetitive.
Alan Handleman only if he is NOT talking about politics.
Michael Savage - usually entertaining

yeah, about him, and that 4-7 block...

i like him pretty well... BUT if he has a guest host like the weatherman, or if he is talking politics, trying to get obama's wife on.... etc... then i flip over to NPR because i really like ALL THINGS CONSIDERED.

but, then again, ATC is news, and if handleman is having a good guest (last really good one was about a month ago, the ex-DEA trainer named BARRY COOPER turned "citizen informer" - the guy who made this site: http://nevergetbusted.com - it was a GREAT show. if it's something cool like that, then i just skip the news, and listen to handelman from 4 until i get home, whenever that is.

if it's something like the "bar" somethings he does pretty regularly (example -- choose one: would you rather lose indoor plumbing forever, or lose your computer forever) or something like that, then i just do NPR from 4 until dinnertime/6.

ahaha like i said, i keep it balanced after listening to 'eloquent' speakers push conservative issues all day, i LOVE to hear the ignorant conservatives call up colmes and call him a faggot liberal and stuff like that

but, yeah, if i had to pick any host to align myself with, it would be boortz. but i'm definitely a reformed democrat that still has liberal "values" so i listen to either side. i mean NPR news is definitely pushing a liberal spin. i just like entertaining radio.

also, i occasionally listen to brad and britt in the mornings (6-10) on FM Talk when g105(bob and the showgram) is on a repeat, or boring. but usually if its a new one, its not boring to me.

I am not a fan of Brad and Britt, they come off as very annoying to me.

I generally listen to News Talk 680 (am) in the mornings until 96 Rock plays the 96 minute commercial free block @ 9:06am

Not a big fan of the morning talk radio, with the exception of Boortz

yeah, don't waste your time with Bob and the Showgram, 101.1 Brad and Britt is where it's at. I love those two.

I'm currently reading Boortz's latest book "Somebody's Got to Say it" and I'm really enjoying it. I love it when he goes off on liberals and their attack on the individual.

hahah FARMat i obviously added that after the table was made

and to the showgram haters, gimme a break. there's nothing wrong with waking up to a bunch of immature nonsense and sex jokes. the only funny thing on brad and britt is the dan rather impersonation... i don't like a lot of politics with my coffee.. but i do listen to them like this week when bob is on vacation

ps marko, its not about trendy. its about how the black sheep is just as big a sheep as any other. AM this, AM that....

but i do have a RADICAL old school motorola AM/FM radio, probably 2nd generation motorola at the most. i'll post pics in like 45 min if you want

if those shows were on FM i'd listen to them...but they don't come on FM so i have to suck it up and deal with it in mono...the sports show on the buzz is also podcast, so i can listen to it on my computer when i get to work

ehh, yeah, i guess that's what a libertarian is if you view the political world in terms of Republicans and Democrats, left and right.

Jackleg, check out Marketplace at 6:30pm on NPR. If you can't catch it live then you can catch it on iTunes.
