i tried really hard to find a wii, played it for about 2 months and then packed it up and haven't even thought about playing with it

the bottom line is if yuou have a decent amount of people that come over that would enjoy playing it then its fun and worthwhile. it gets really boring by yourself fairly quick.

i'm trying to decide between rock band and guitar hero for the wii
i dont have tons of people over when i'm working though so either one will probably get dusty pretty quickly

i have a good amount of traffic come through here. pretty much why i bought the wii.

got one for my girlfriends parents and they became addicted.

now they always want to "compete" and im kind of bored with letting them win at tennis.

her dad is retired and all he does is play wii tennis, and sends me picture mail screenshots of his rank.

time to switch things up

I like GH3 (the only one I've played), but I definitely preferred the experience on other systems to the wii. It wasn't bad, it just seemed to have a bit of lag to it - particularly after missing a note.

I didn't get bored with it... and I still enjoy picking it up and playing a song every now and then... and the bonus tracks have 2 or 3 really really great songs

and then there are 2 others that I like I lot but have to hear them in the game to list

I beat it on beginner without ever having played GH pretty much the first time straight through which was nice to just hear all the songs and see everything that was available... then I got through Medium and started learning "hard" but the semester beat me down pretty viciously...

I'd recommend getting it for 360 probably over wii since you can get dolby digital and it's a music based game to rock out with.

rock band lets you order new songs online. that is pretty key to not get bored. plus drumming is way more fun. I'm not sure if the new guitar hero lets you buy songs online. If it does then they are pretty much the same.
