yeah because its white

milk is glorified baby formula...it helps fuel a growing a body

when you reach physical maturity, you don't need to keep drinking it

[Edited on July 14, 2008 at 3:59 PM. Reason : its fine with cereal, cookies, etc...but not as a beverage by itself]

haha yeah and you're an expert nutritionist... i guess you're saying a carbonated beverage is exactly what the body needs now considering its the drink machine alternative.

I'm obviously not going to change your mind...I mean, you're so convinced it works for you that you proudly rattle off your physical dimensions like you're on the back of a fucking Fleer card

You don't "need" it. But it does reduce the risk of heart disease and more importantly osteoporosis

It would be cheaper to stock your company's fridge w/ your own milk. Why bother w/ the mark up associated w/ having a company do it, or convincing the owner/stock boy to do it.

My brothers and I are all winners of the gallon challenge. When I was a freshman in college, I drank a gallon of milk per day.

It was awesome!

my doctor told me that i should keep drinking milk (low fat or skim) because it's a good source of calcium, and i don't want to become a hunchback. i know people take vitamins, and i do too, but i thought that one's body absorbed nutritious elements better when it's from food and not a pill.

also, that milk machine thing at UT had delicious, cold milk.

milk is going to help the strength of your bones, but the reason you have 7.8% body fat is more in part due to a good diet and exercising

unless you mean

MUSCLE MILK!!!

I am a milk fiend as well
gotta have it!
in fact if i don't, i panic and officially "don't have anything so i need to go to the store"

actually dairy in general. milk, cheese, yogurt. just not you, cottage cheese. cottage cheese has to pay.

milk is not a good source of dietary calcium. the calcium is in the form of calcium caseinate, a protein. societies with the highest intake of calcium, particularly that of animal sources, a, lso have the highest rate of osteoporosis. google milk and osteoporosis- of the first 20 hits, only one supports the view that milk prevents osteoporosis. granted these sources are not all scholarly, but this is becoming common knowledge in the medical world.

why this appears to be the case is rather complex and involves bone metabolism, digestion of amino acids, vitamin D synthesis and other factors, but milk does not build strong bones. If you ever see a milk ad, they never say "milk builds strong bones." they say "milk is a source of calcium. healthy bones need calcium." these are not equivalent statements.
