well i have a job that i really like....even though it's not financially the most ideal thing in the world...but i'm happy with the rest of my working situation....
i would like to eventually get married to a wonderful man and have some kids...
if i can convince him to move to my home in Wilson where we will build a baller as house on the property I have there then things would be ideal...i could still keep my job and be close to my family...
if not then i guess i'll do what i have to do...but i'm not going to do anything that doesn't make me happy at the end of the day...
i also would like to find a way to make some side money doing something i enjoy...i have a few creative hobbies...i just don't know how to implement them for my financial benefit....
i would also like to eventually get my masters...but i'm not going to get one for the sake of having one....i want to get one in something that i can use...

not really, especially because I feel like I wasted the last 3 years of my life on some broad that ended up fucking me over. those 3 years could have been spent advancing my career and working toward bigger and better things, rather than just being "content".7/18/2008 10:01:24 AM |

to hell with being content...
i've spent so much of my life being content and settling because i was able to convince myself that it was what i really wanted....or at least what i could live with
i want to be happy...i want to lay my head down at night and rest peacefully...i want to wake up every morning with somebody i love....
i guess i really just want it all 7/18/2008 10:04:20 AM |

i've been on the "me" train for several years now...i've been living my life for me and getting myself where i wanted to be without the help or dependence of another person...
i've been avoiding commitment like it was my job...which is the reason for all the 21 year olds...
i've reached the point where i'm ready for a grown up...

Travel the world (which I'm starting in September). Hopefully live abroad for a little bit.
Come back to the states and join up with a good friend in his solo practice law firm and/or open a bar. If I practice law, I only want to do it for a little while and then get back into the restaurant industry. I want to own a few places down here in Charleston...run them myself vigorously for the first 5-10 years, then hire other people to run them while I enjoy living life with my family and hopefully traveling some more.
I think its somewhat realistic...but will take a good combination of hard work and luck. 7/18/2008 10:25:41 AM |
