eBay is probably your best bet - I bought a lot of Tommy Hilfiger shirts (8 or 9 of them) like 3 years ago for $20 on ebay and then resold them for over $80 on there when I got tired of them - I've made quite a bit on there from selling old clothes, especially if you know how to list them

Platos Closet....i think they only take relatively new stuff, which sounds like what you'll have

or

Claim they were worn by someone famous and see if you get any bites on ebay

[Edited on July 18, 2008 at 3:38 PM. Reason : ^^^I think there's still one in Crossroads near Best Buy]

Plato's Closet won't take anything older than 1 year.

i would go for a high end consignment boutique, depending on what sort of designers you're talking about. for instance, villa consegna in 5 points would be the type of place you'd look for.

Cheap Jack’s Vintage Clothing, 303 Fifth Avenue, at the corner of 31st Street

Encore is another... these are all designer consignment shops in NYC

well, i'm saying

plato's closet is a chain for 14 year old girls

you don't go there looking for a second hand suit or some cufflinks
