there are flies that do that but I have never heard of spiders that do that.
Quote : | "The genus Dermatobia contains only one species, D. hominis, the only species of bot fly that attacks humans (in addition to other primates). the female Dermatobia captures the mosquito and attaches its eggs to the body of it, then releases it. Either the eggs hatch while the mosquito is feeding and the larvae use the mosquito bite area as the entry point, or the eggs simply drop off the muscoid fly when it lands on the skin. The larvae develop inside the subcutaneous layers, and after approximately eight weeks, they drop out to pupate for at least a week, typically in the soil. The adults are small gray flies resembling a blowfly." |

I heard chiggers do and don't live under your skin...time to go to wikipedia!!!
Quote : | "Contrary to popular belief, the larvae do not burrow deep into the skin and live there. Rather, the larvae pierce the skin and inject powerful enzymes that digest cellular contents, which become liquified and are consumed by the larvae.[1]" |
Quote : | "However, by the time the bite appears, the chigger itself is gone, so although covering the bite with nail polish, calamine lotion, Vaseline or other petroleum jelly, baby oil, or anything else may help relieve the pain and itching, it will not suffocate the chigger or help the bites heal any faster." |

^Oh that is just disgusting. I saw this one where this person had one removed from their eye though. Like their actual eye. I'm not sure if it was real. I thought it was fake, until someone said there was such a fly that does it. 7/20/2008 12:24:43 AM |

it's tru
my math teacher went on a hike in South America and when the girl infront of him removed her hankercheif that was around her neck, there was a whitish orb stickin out the back of her neck with black patches inside.
there was a pic of it (NASTY NASTY NASTY)
they poked it with a knife and teh guide had some sortuv liquid that killed the baby spiders.
scary shit. 7/20/2008 12:29:28 AM |

I find hot running water is the best anti-histamine and provides the best, and cheap, remedy for itchiness of the skin. Run warm water on the itchy area and gradually turn the hot water up until you cant stand it. Get out of the shower and you'll have relief for almost half a day. This works on bug bites, poison ivy, athletes foot, and any other condition that makes your skin itch. 7/20/2008 9:09:04 AM |
