I've been out of Raleigh for too long to know which places are good for a Tuesday night. I am thinking flying saucer but I think I am very wrong.

Go to PB's if she is trying to get sloshed for her bday. If not then stay away from that place

[Edited on July 22, 2008 at 11:06 AM. Reason : ^ still hoppin, it's good in the summer bc the back porch is open]

i think it's $5 patron at white collar, if that's your thing. Or half off all tequila or something...someone was talking about it last week.

i was downtown (greensboro) yesterday morning and passed a place i'd never seen before/ right at green street where the road loops around the statue, theres a place that says billiards on the side

ever been there? ive been looking for a new place to play since breakers has turned into CSI: greensboro over the past 2 years and they closed my little spot up battleground

I used to have the Tues/Thurs class schedule, which left 4 or 5 nights for drinking if I so pleased

damn, all you can drink bud light for $5. I would have DEFINITELY missed a lot of Friday classes if that shit was going on when I was in school.

of course, that would go along with all the Wednesday classes I already missed because of $1 night

i remember on Tues/Sat at PB's Newcastles were $1.50

we'd get a 6 pack of Newcastle from the bar for 9 freaking dollars (plus tip)...they'd just pop the tops and give us the box

i did tues/thurs one semester... 15 hours, dropped quickly to 12.

i made it through but it sure sucked some days. the few mini vacations when all classes were on downtime was nice though

yeah, I used to line up the double beam and cokes for $2. Jeff would see me walk in the door and 2 would be waiting for me by the time I got to the bar, which usually took a good 10 minutes that place was so packed.

is Jeff still there?

^ depends on whether or not you have friends...i guess for some people, being at home really is a drag (good thing i'm not one of them...i'd hate to feel like i had to go somewhere and spend many dollar bucks to have a good time...but hey, to each his/her own)

guess its a little different for me, i drink so rarely that price is never an issue. i enjoy nights in too, i love tv etc, but sometimes i gotta get the hell out.

Is it on Washington? Probably Green Burro or one of those. I'll drive down that way at lunch and check it out. There are a couple pretty cool placed down that way. Green Burro has indoor cornhole which is always fun. Or maybe that is the other place up there. Pour House is pretty good too.

I think Jeff did buy the place if I remember correctly. They own the pool hall across the street to I believe.

i go to napper tandy's on tuesday nights. $3 pints (smithwicks all DAY) and the best game night ever....they play jeopardy and family feud for a chance to play deal or no deal for $1000 cash.

actually yes i think it was at washington, because blah blah i turned the wrong way and needed to go toward the depot

hahah cornhole is pretty fun, a couple of family members bring that to some functions, the kids mostly play. thats the boxes with the beanbags that go in the cornholes right? hahah

def let me know if you catch a name on it, i was too busy trying to figure out what end of washington i was on, i was way out of my downtown niche of elm and market/friendly ahah
