Why do you need itunes?? Don't ipods come with itunes discs (and if not, you can just download it real quick on your laptop)?? And more people are going to be carrying around laptops than any other place you could logically put an ipod vending machine. And I assume if you're going to buy an ipod, you probably have some mp3s on your laptop already.

I just know that a lot of impulse buys are made in airports. I know I've bought a couple dvds waiting for a layover. And you've always got kids with parents going on vacations. The kids who don't have an ipod will see this as a perfect opportunity to get one so they can listen to music while on the plane.

buy internet access at the airport
buy music / movies / tv shows online through the airports internet access to put on said ipod

what isn't there to like about this from the airports viewpoint?
