Basically you d/l this software and create an account and you create folder shares that can be accessed from other computers by your account and/or other accounts. All the management is done through the website. You add shares and sync them between your various computers. You can also set a share to be accessable by other people. Lastly you can turn on remote access mode and view all files and folders on the computer and download them remotely.

I know there are a hundred other ways to do it, but the setup time for this is nothing. Its pretty slick.

I dunno. Haven't looked at mesh. I saw this posted on another board where someone was asking about an easy folder share program, and i thought it was pretty cool.

it's very similar, probably the same technology, folder share is only a portion of what the live mesh platform does though

notice these are all public beta applications. Live Mesh and Windows Live! technologies will probably merge into something eventually.
