Sounds to me like a case of Douchy McFaggot sucking shit on the course and being an asshole in general and throwing a fit about it. Even his teammates wanted him off the squad. Meh, this doesn't seem threadworthy but I'll post it anyway 7/24/2008 5:25:07 PM |

If he wins it would set a very dangerous precedent. 7/24/2008 5:26:24 PM |

lets see...they were trying to cut the team down from 12 or 13 people, to about half the size

As someone who works in the Athletic Administration business, I just shook my head about this one. One of his arguments is that Duke kept him from succeeding as a pro golfer....he chose the wrong golf school if that was his main reason for going to Duke. He should of gone to Wake Forest, Stanford, UT, if golf was his prime reason for going to college.
Secondly.....did he ever think that maybe..just maybe...he didnt have the skills that the rest of the players who were not cut had? Does anyone know any of his scores from this kid's last tournament..id be interested in seeing them and how he did in his last golf tournament? 7/24/2008 5:54:00 PM |

His best finish was a tie for 36th at the Fighting Illini Invitational in Olympia Fields, Ill. His season competition average was 74.5, good for 12th best on the team.
He finished tied for 60th at 7-over-par (73-77-73--223) at the Coca Cola Duke Golf Classic in Durham on Oct. 7-8, and tied for 36th at 14-over-par (73-75-76--224) at the Fighting Illini Invitational, on Sept. 30-Oct. 1. 7/24/2008 6:00:16 PM |

Im not a big golf person, but those numbers dont seem too stellar...especially not for a Division 1 ..ACC Conference school....
maybe he should of started out at a DII or DIII golf power house school...and tried to move his way up...? 7/24/2008 6:14:51 PM |
