that's not always the case. i have a good friend with a baby and she's just as fun as she would be if she didn't have a child. plus, her baby is great and never cries so taking the baby places (not bars obviously) is not a challenge.

i am surprised though that she told you via text. i would hope my friends would call if something like was going on in their life.
