It was a Unitarian church, and his stated reasons for shooting were because he hated liberals, and couldn't find a job. It was also noted that he disliked Christians, thought religion was BS, and was angry still that his parents forced him to go to church when he was younger.

Tragically, he killed 2 old people (who were still younger than McCain).

Duke has been mostly fair IMO (although I disagree with the rule that you can be a jerk as long as you're not JUST a jerk) Hooksaw is the only exception really, but he often is entertaining, and has been relatively more tame recently.
