^ no way dude, its NOTHING like Raleigh. The suburbs are somewhat like it but thats not actual Atlanta. I'll be the first to admit that Atlanta has a lot of shitty parts, but it also has a lot of really cool parts, whereas Raleigh is never bad, but its never really good either

well thats good to know...honestly it was still on my list cause its in the eastern time zone, in the south, and near a big city...what makes me want to leave raleigh is that it seems so boring here...like i know what it has to offer and i want something "better"

^^^ I feel you completely... thats the exact reason I left Raleigh, it was boring and I felt myself getting lazy and content with boring shit, I've taken 5 years off my age by moving down here, so much shit to do.

^ I have no doubt it will be good, especially with Talib opening... but I just wonder with all the Hip Hop Is Dead, Southern Rap has ruined hip hop etc stuff if its going to be a weird vibe

true, but you soon run out of things to do in a city the size of Raleigh... I loved it there the first 3-4 years and it definitely wasnt "bad" by any means, but just got so damn boring. About the only thing I miss aside from friends there is tailgating and football games

3 years of Raleigh was more than enough for me, and I couldn't even legally drink for 2 of them

Charlotte is a good medium between Raleigh and ATL

Plenty to do, but you can still go all the way across town relatively easily without it feeling like a huge burden

yeah, Charlotte is fun too... and traffic isnt as bad as you think here IF you plan around it... like you said you cant just randomly pick to go across town any time of the day, got to strategize that shit
