that's like the equivalent of someone trying to jam an ATX power connection into a 9800GX2 these days, and cutting off the remaining 16-pins because all they needed was 8-pins... or something like that.

although this kind of stuff happens all the time with n00bs working with those AGP/PCI-E levers on the slot... can't tell you how many i've seen broken.

When the year 2000 rolled around apparently the local cable station didn't have compatible equipment (Y2k OMG!), so the date displayed on the local advertising station rolled back to 1972.


And as of right now it still says August 2 1981.
