Just called the cops on my neighbors because their music is too fucking loud. I gave them a chance for about 10 minutes, but this shit is not gonna fly. Starting to play your loud ass rap music at 1:20 am is just asking for it. I have to be up early as hell tomorrow. Your ass is getting the cops called. If it was closer to midnight I'd let it go, but it's approaching 2 am and that's just a tad inconsiderate.

I've been lazy for a while now. I lied to my ex-girlfriend for nearly eight months and some of my closest friends for nearly a year - 14 months. On the flip side, I was homeless for a couple of months this year.

It crossed my mind, and it does pain me to call the police, but I've never had one of those experiences work. They either laugh in your face or slam the door in your face and you end up calling the cops anyway. So at least this way they don't know who did it. I don't care if they play their music at an above average volume, but the bass is making it impossible to sleep.

And yes, I am using "karma" in the sense of something bad you do which affects your karma negatively. In this case, my calling the police is negative but will be outweighed by the fact that now I can sleep and won't be miserable tomorrow in the class I have to go take.
