Getting carried away with photos is awesome, you've got some nice shots there. Ever considered a career in photography?

Your photos at the moment are much more objective than subjective, which is great for documentary photography. I think you might enjoy taking on a project like what I'm looking forward to - getting out into the old time country areas in NC and photographing cabins, barns, and other areas that will eventually be mowed down and developed into suburbs.

Oooh, another gem.



Next time, be sure to get the skyscrapers positioned visibly behind the structure. If you sit around during an interesting skyscape (storms/sunsets/night sky) you'll have yourself a really nice pic.

Regarding your nighttime shots, they are very nice, but be sure to have everything in focus. Do you use a tripod or rest the camera against a surface? Either way, keep up the good work!

Well, I didn't set out to take pictures of everything. I was just walking and this happened. I had to go to the Bank of America on Oberlin, so that's why I didn't make it past the bell tower. Next time perhaps k?

I like a lot of those shots. I'm found of the view coming into downtown on Hwy 401 from Garner. It's impressive.

This thread makes me miss living Raleigh. Although with family in Raleigh & Cary I still visit the area plenty. I'm actually applying for a job in downtown Raleigh, as well as applying to a number of grad schools including NCSU, so I may be back in the area more often soon.
