So I was at the grocery store yesterday and the cashier.......before he would give you your change or the slip to sign, will look up and stare at the ceiling for a good 10 seconds for each customer. They would reach for the slip and he would hold it back while looking at the ceiling.....it was a bit odd.

That burger place in Brier Creek used to have the stupidest hostess. We had to wait almost 20 minutes for a table even though there were empty tables. She was just waiting for one to open with EXACTLY 2 seats rather than sitting us at the counter or a 4 person table.

I haven't been back since then.
