Eh sorry...I'd move it but I can't. Guess it wasn't as intelluctually stimulating as the "orange juice" thread.

Creepy IT guy probably has orders from his boss (unless he is like the guy who installed webcam software which logged to the web so he could wnak over his female customers).

^ key loggers!

it's fun being in IT because we know what's up In my office we're the center hub for gossip because they think we'll find out in other ways, so they tell us what's going on.

There are several 3rd party clients that support encryption.

encryption= he can't read them (unless he's DVDJon).

Everything you do on a computer at work is recorded and available to your superiors.

Just accept it.

All companies do this. They also know you're on tDub. Why is this so hard to understand?

If you want to screw off at work and you're worried about it, use the blackberry.

If you're really that concerned, set up a linux box at home, ssh into it from work, surf the web there.

Everybody at work knows me as the "fun guy" so they almost expect for me to do all kinds of unPC things via email, communicator, phone etc

shit, deadaim and trillian keeps IM logs automatically. I mainly use it to see if I told this or that person something already or to get a link I sent or received from or to that individual. If the conversation turned out funny, I'd copy and paste it on the internet.

me:: i keep trying to clone out a mark on my LCD screen...
friend: that's sad
me: why can't PS tools work in real life?
me:
friend: i used to dream about using "erase" tools and using them in real life. that's sad
me: been there done that
me: but then someone keeps pressing the ctrl z
me: I think it's god
me:
friend: nice
