comes over to my house and figures out how to hook my desktop up to our wirless connection. I have a wirless card and it is picking up the signal but still no gol. Like I said, ill pay someone to fix it. pm asap.

whatever, screw that...i'll do it for $20, but not till tomorrow...as long as you're not too far away (i gotta run errands in brier creek, so as long as you're near the farmer's market or between the FM and brier creek, i'll stop by)

Download the manual for your wireless router online. Everything you'll need to fix your problem will be in there and you'll learn some stuff in the process.

unplug your modem and your wireless router...

wait 15-20 seconds

plug your modem back up

wait for all the lights on the modem to light up

plug your router back up

It sounds like he can't figure out how to set up a connection on his pc, as in encryption type, login and password type deal.
