I do some of those things all the time, but they don't really make me feel awkward.

Like when people say "how are you" and I say "not much"

Another thing, when it's my birthday and people wish me happy birthday I sometimes say "you too" before I think about it.

I just kind of think it's funny though, it doesn't really make me uncomfortable.


It is awkward when I don't recognize someone, which happens to me all the time. I'm terrible with names.
