People who bitch about the "hickness" of NC have never spent a long, continued period of time in South Carolina. North Carolina might as well be New York as far as I'm concerned after living down here for 3+ years.

It's like a different country down here...and they're proud of it. Almost how Californians are proud of their extreme liberalness.
