this is how I know you're really not gay. A gay guy would already know how to solve this.

actually it seems to not happen at all when someone else is sleeping with me

it has only happened so far when i sleep on the left side of my bed and with no one on the right side.

Your sheets are too big for your bed. If they fit properly, this wouldn't happen.

You could just sleep on top of your made bed with another blanket. That's what I do.

[Edited on August 13, 2008 at 8:45 AM. Reason : ^ That's worse than all the man-juice residue on your bed?]

on the contrary, it happens because the sheets aren't getting enough action

you see, if they WERE getting enough, they'd be stretched out to the point that they longer hold too-tight, and they'd stay in place

You, of all people, should be familiar with things that are stretched out and don't hold like they used to.

presuming he will wash the sheets, unlike some of you filthy animals, the duct tape sticky icky will get transferred to other parts of the sheet. go buy the clips, and next time buy sheets that are made to fit a deep mattress. you have to make sure the entire fitted sheet is tucked well beyond the bottom of the mattress. also try sleeping more in the middle and don't slide on the sheets

and yeah, i think the main problem is my sheets are really silky and so is the top of my mattress... slippery thing + slippery thing = slippery. maybe if i put a mattress pad underneath?

Get a zippered allergen cover, it'll keep dust and crap out of the mattress and make it last longer.

Then get a mattress pad. I got a REALLY sweet one at Ross for $25. One corner is square instead of rounded but since it'd probably be $100 otherwise I don't care.

i found out thread count doesn't always translate to quality. well maybe it does but if that's the case then the higher the thread count the hotter the sheets get. if you didn't like the tempurpedic bed because of the temperature then you probably don't like the higher thread count sheets.

A client of my dad sent (to my address) a set of really nice (turns out they were $texas) 1600+ thread count sheets. My girlfriend and I put them on our bed and it was like we were sleeping in a garbage bag in the summer sun.

We sometimes will use them in the winter, but when we are together we usually sleep cuddled up and keeps us warm enough to where the sheets are still too hot.
