What are some of your habits or hobbies that are considered old school

I can't stand T9 and refuse to learn how to use it. i dont have a keyboard phone so i do all my texts old school style... letter by letter

if someone wants me to send a text from their phone and they have t9 activated i close the phone and tell them i dont do t9. they offer to show me how and i refuse. i maintain that its just as much work as going letter by letter

I too hated T9. However, I soon realized the pressing the + key cycles through all known words in the dictionary, and offers the option to add a new word so you never have to letter-by-letter it again.

I've also noticed that the Nokia implementation is far superior to others.

I work on my own car (recently changed the transmission in it)
I work on my own house (wired for internet and surround sound)
I take pride in a work of labor (landscaping etc.)
I still mow my parent's lawn for them
I want kids more than a selfish lifestyle
I enjoy cooking my own dinner
I do not like other people doing things for me i would prefer to do it myself to ensure its done correctly

One could argue that adding kids to an already overcrowded planet which also happens full of unadopted children is selfish in and of itself. Not everyone who chooses not to have children is selfish. Handshakes are hard with women, I was always taught you never extend your hand to a woman unless she extends hers first. This only counts in social situations though, in work situations I treat everyone the same.
