for them to not let you on a flight?

I'm at an airport bar and will be here for 5 more hours until my flight takes off

I don't want to be barred from boarding but I do want to catch a nice buzz

we got a buddy onto a flight once when we had been up drinking for about 40 hours in vegas.

i single him out, b/c he was drunk enough to have passed out for an hour in the stall in the bathroom when he tried to take a shit

for the most part, if they dont think you'll be an annoyance to the other passengers, it's whatever.

You'll be fine.. I've had 4 or 5 22 oz at the bar in the SFO airport and been fine to board.. just don't act like a moron.

It also helps if you can get the smell off your breath. Brush your teeth or chew gum or something.

I like to think I can hold my booze pretty well. But then again, 5hours is a long time

as long as you keep your mouth shut and stay composed then you'll be ok. it wouldn't hurt to slam down some breath mints right before you board to cover some of the booze smell

this bar charges far too much for alcohol for me to be getting drunk.

and somebody's gotta be sober enough to make sure Biofreak70 gets home

If you can walk without stumbling and talk coherently you should be good. Good luck.

Just wait till you get on the plane. It'll at least pass the time faster.

airplane bottles for the win - get through security with them and then drinks drop about 80% in price

just don't be as drunk as these two british women a few weeks ago. They were on holiday and during the flight they got so drunk that the flight attendants refused to serve them any more drinks so one of the two ladies got out a bottle of vodka and started drinking...then they tried to open the cabin door at 30,000+ feet because they wanted fresh air. After they were wrestled away one of the two drunktards smashed the bottle of vodka over a flight attendants head...or something along those lines.
