I did the same thing one time, but instead of scrambled eggs it was the business side of a slice of scalding peanut butter toast.

I was pretty young at the time, wasn't sure what to do, so I kind of just stood there for a few minutes with molten peanut butter melting my hand.

after unplugging my flat iron i picked it up by the cord and the flat iron itself hit me in the forearm
