yes and no, but neither of those had anything to do with being in roanoke or blacksburg. i was visiting some old friends who don't really go out much anymore, so basically all i saw was the inside of their apartment, a movie theater, and that shitty mall.

its got a movie theater...........abuelo's........it's just a shitty town. it's depressing as fuck. i get the exact same feeling when i drive on capital near triangle town center

I dunno, it was always good for something on the weekends when I lived in Lexington. Pretty decent view from Mill Mountain. Just don't speed through Boones Mill.

Downtown roanoke is cool-- the farmer's market there and some restaurants, and that odd food court.

i used to go to smith mountain lake a lot so i can sign off on a lot of things in this thread.

roanoke is a shit hole of a town, but its much better than many of the surrounding areas, but that doesn't make it okay.
