i never understsood the reputation of hooters. as a child i had some kind of idea it was a stripclub that served food the way people talked about it. now i know its just a restaurant with cheerleaders as waiters. whats the big deal?

i don't care if you bring your kid to hooters. boobs are boobs. fucking take them to the art museum, while you're at it. the human body has been a form of art for...well, ever. and i feel like a wave of prude has been sweeping the nation. like oh god, please don't let my kid see breasts...the very thing s/he nursed from for 6 months and will PROBABLY see again at some point in his/her life. if you aren't going to take them to hooters, you might as well forget the beach, too.

it is slightly different when parents bring their kids to bars. but during lunchtime/early dinner...who cares. as long as you don't bring your kid to woody's trashy trivia (though i don't think that still exists) you're probably ok. but yea, don't bring your family to a bar and then ask for the music to be turned down or for 2% milk. its a bar. but if you are out at first friday with your kids...who cares if you go to a bar and grab a beer and listen to music with your family. and who cares if your kid is exposed to some tatas.
