i bought the book in the atlanta airport before heading to ecuador a few weeks ago

when we were in the galapagos, it became a nightly ritual to read entries after dinner on the boat with some of the kids and dads onboard the yacht

my favorite line was something like - really competitive white people who run marathons become triathletes because kenyans can't afford $10,000 racing bikes
