didn't count on this incident expediting her leave, but she bumped her move out date to Sept 1st now.

i guess its like 2 weeks notice. anyways. she didn't pay a deposit. she rents a room. shouldn't be much to replace or repair.


now this fcking roach problem. its really disgusting actually. i noticed them shortly after she moved in. i have no idea how someone can bring roaches with them. this has been mind-boggling and definitely made me think about class structure. not that i can consider myself in a class, but she's definitely of lower-class. the unpolitically correct term would be "white trash" and i think thats the source of all these problems.

i made a big deal after it was apparent they came from her room. before i figured it was summer heat or maybe she slept with her windows open. i even thought i had my balcony window open a few nights or something.

i was chalking it up to living in south florida . . . then i started putting the pieces together and i was definitive it came from her. especially after seeing the dirty dishware in her room.

i don't think i'm the problem here.

Definitely don't clean her room, that's her responsibility. Get a written agreement that she will pay for the Orkin guy or whatever, otherwise she'll just dip out.
Take photographs of what it looks like and if you want you can mail them to yourself to prove the date (i.e.: not photoshopped dates). Put a newspaper in the picture of today/tomorrow to further prove the date.

Do you own the place? See if there are any other recourses like having her pay to thoroughly clean the room or any sort of health hazards. I'm not sure what all else you can do, but DO NOT clean her room.

If you go in and clean it -- she can sue you for anything missing that she believes you've stolen or broken...women turn evil in a heartbeat.
