i didn't read what the media tank a-110 is. but is it like an apple tv combined with a media center pc with DVR etc? if so sounds really awesome.

think of it as a hacked appleTV with all the features you can think of.

except it won't play itunes DRM
it also doesn't have an HDTV tuner, nor an optical disc player but some people are working on a plugin that could possibly use the HDHomeRun with it.
you CAN however stream from a PC with an optical drive, or record the disc as an ISO/or/TS and play it straight off the hard drive or USB hard drive.

not trying to be a dick but you just told me it was a hacked apple tv then took away all the features that i would expect of a hacked apple tv

so the only thing it does do is stream video/audio content from a PC but it cannot be purchased video/audio content unless you rip it from a disc?

I was hoping there would be something out there that had everything an apple tv would have + tuner. I really like the one click rental ability. but the downside of apple tv is you can't purchase HD content.
