Most of those people are probably in government jobs that reward people for certain levels of education as opposed to rewarding good work.

what does it matter if you have the piece of paper? most if not all employers will verify education by contacting the institution anyway.

I'm currently taking a few online courses at Patriot Bible University

Its cheap as shit, and I can get my Masters next spring

If it helps me in my career, great

If not, I'm only down about 600 bucks and 80 hours of my life
