whats the noticeable difference between the regular milk that goes bad in about a week compared to the type that is "ultra-pasteurized" that lasts like a monththe latter comes in a carton

I don't know, but I like regular moo cow fuck milk, and more specifically, skim milkthanks lewis black
8/23/2008 6:43:34 PM
i bought the one that lasts longer
8/23/2008 6:47:59 PM
i think the smaller/carton ones always last longer...but i wondered the same thing (and also bought the "ultra-pasteurized")
8/23/2008 6:49:51 PM
as in taste?
8/23/2008 6:49:59 PM
yea how are they different in taste
8/23/2008 6:51:17 PM
tittay milk, lawl
8/23/2008 6:52:04 PM
I taste no difference, but I no longer care for the taste of whole milk either after switching to skim. The first time I drank ultra pasteurized i was real worried because it was over a month old, but it tasted just like fresh 1 or 2% milk should.
8/23/2008 6:53:12 PM
oh yeah, what i got was 2%...and i've never notice a difference in taste b/t the longer lasting and shorter lasting[Edited on August 23, 2008 at 6:54 PM. Reason : that's what she said?]

it's the same milk it's just processed differently, perhaps with higher temperatures and in a different environment so that bacteria aren't as prevalent.someone with more knowledge on the subject will chime in soon.
8/23/2008 6:56:57 PM
i never drink milk straight up since thats only for little kids and homosbut i use it for cereal all the time...also mashed potatoes and various cakes and pastries
8/23/2008 6:58:27 PM
this is the only milk I drink. no exceptions... cause everything else taste like shit[Edited on August 23, 2008 at 7:01 PM. Reason : x]
8/23/2008 7:01:14 PM
milk straight up is terriblegot to have it with cereal, and its required for some hamburger helper mixes[Edited on August 23, 2008 at 7:10 PM. Reason : ]

Ultra-pasteurized is what McDonald's has, and it is delicious.

uht tastes bland, or so i hear--i haven't had cows' milk in so long, i don't really remember
8/23/2008 8:42:31 PM
i grew up a 2% milk drinker...switched to whole milk(is that "vitamin d" milk?) for a little while...def back to 2% now
8/23/2008 8:43:55 PM
i like whole milk if that's what you're asking
8/23/2008 8:48:57 PM
dat 190% fat milk drank
8/23/2008 8:49:02 PM
with cereal, oatmeal and pretty much anything else you mix milk with you can adapt to skim in no time. I used to dub it as some disgusting milk flavored water concoction but these days it doesn't bother me the least.soy juice is another story, I just don't dig the taste of it. not even in my macchiato.

my roommate eats his cereal w/ half and half
8/23/2008 9:03:13 PM
1% low fat. greatest substance ever
8/23/2008 9:09:14 PM
aseptic packaging and super high heat pasteurization.
8/23/2008 9:10:15 PM
yall nasty, with dat 1-2% milk.Whole is the only good milk.
8/23/2008 10:44:58 PM
8/23/2008 11:17:48 PM
about 3 dollars and 49 cents
8/23/2008 11:22:19 PM
Organic milk lasts a lot longer and it's better for kids.Regular milk can give the chilruns boobies or moobies b/c of the hormones...
8/23/2008 11:27:28 PM
1-2% is what I drink.I CAN drink whole, and I actually prefer whole for chocolate milk and with peanut butter sammiches.I can't drink skim, it's like colored water.
8/23/2008 11:30:15 PM
Soy milk all the way. Fuck a cow.
8/23/2008 11:31:41 PM
^ no thx..im just not interested in you
8/23/2008 11:32:11 PM
the uht at harris teeter is the best milk i've ever tasted outside of the fair. it doesn't have that "sour smell" ever that even the freshest regular milk has a hint of. I rather drink tropicana but nothing like some good ole non rgbh every now and then.
8/23/2008 11:38:14 PM
whole milk seemed to fuck up my stomach way worse than 2% ever did
