I was riding from Cary to Raleigh once with a buddy of mine. He got pulled over in Cary by a Cary cop for his headlight being out, then literally 3 miles up the road he got pulled by a Morrisville cop for the same thing. It was pretty funny.

thats like some sort of fourth dimensional faggotry. you can diagram that exchange and if you project it onto a plane and the dots you connect will always form goatse

same thing happened to me, but it was with registration.

he was going to write me a ticket until i told him that i had just been pulled for it and the cary cop gave me a warning.

bttt

Cary has a new Honda Pilot that i saw pull someone today

looks like this

no strobes & no antenna --- minimal dash mounts and only 2 blue lights that i saw. one tiny bar light in the front and the back on the inside of of the rear and front windshield. lights had to be about 6-8inches long and very small.

be aware. he got someone on Harrison this morning by Cary Academy

Aren't all cop cars domestics, though?

All I've ever seen are, but I don't suppose they *have* to be, not a law or anything. The Pilot is probably produced in the USA anyhow.

The only concern I have for things like this are, if any vehicle can be an unmarked cop, how are you going to know if the car pulling you over is legit or not? Seems like if any old character can slap some blue lights in any fairly recent car, you're going to see an increase in "blue light bandit" type of behavior. It's not like it can't be done already--any fool can buy a retired PI Crown Vic or a base model Charger--but it seems like the opportunities might increase quite a bit.

If I remember correctly, you can dial some number on your phone to call dispatch (or something) and find out if the person asking you to pull over is legit or not. I remember reading something about that in an article for women to be on the lookout for blue light bandit type folks. Was a while ago...
