so what should one look for when digging for worms?
obviously dirt, but what else? moist dirt? grassy dirt? shady dirt? muddy dirt? do you worm diggers have any primo spots you like to go dig your worms at?

you shouldnt have to dig through the soil to find worms
just remove the upper level of leaf litter and loose detritus on any forest floor, like sticks and things they crawl around feeding in that layer

ok i couldnt think of the word for that^^
so look for land with detritus, as in dead leaves and sticks and such
nighttime with a red light, check on both of those
