8/27/2008 9:20:46 AM
Man, I hate driving to work and then having to walk 10 feet into my building in the rain.
8/27/2008 9:27:09 AM
lol, life is rough skwinkle
8/27/2008 9:27:38 AM

8/27/2008 9:28:01 AM

8/27/2008 9:30:16 AM

8/27/2008 9:31:23 AM
I gotta stop at Kmart on the way in and buy a cheap umbrella.
8/27/2008 9:51:19 AM
I like the rain, not so much teh floods. And just wear a hoodie or a jacket or something.
8/27/2008 9:54:24 AM
my shoes are soaked and my shorts are too rain + wind = suck despite my umbrella
8/27/2008 10:36:46 AM
Yep, my shoes and shorts are pretty wet despite having an umbrellaOddly enough, the rain seemingly went right through my rain jacket so my shoulders are pretty damp too
8/27/2008 10:41:39 AM
8/27/2008 11:21:09 AM
after it finished raining i stepped outside and took a big breath inso refreshing
8/27/2008 11:36:02 AM
thank god it stopped before i went to my 11:20 class
8/27/2008 11:37:13 AM
8/27/2008 11:39:05 AM
why would you wear flip flops anyway if it was raining outside?
8/27/2008 11:40:47 AM
^forget to check the weather, get to campus early before rain starts and don't realize what a mistake you made this morning when picking out shoes. haha
8/27/2008 11:42:27 AM
I was fucking soaked in Fortran.
8/27/2008 11:42:51 AM
i'm pretty sure every female out today is wearing their big plastic boots, whether its actually raining or not
8/27/2008 11:43:35 AM
slip proof. and the rain isn't bad, some of the responses have made me
8/27/2008 11:44:36 AM
if you're using an umbrella, you don't need to wear rain boots. just don't step in the puddles. Easy!
8/27/2008 11:47:01 AM
I always associate umbrellas with females. Typically i will rock a rain jacket, waterproof bag, and those clogs. Puddles need not be avoided unless over 3 inches.
8/27/2008 11:50:04 AM
I wouldn't mind it so much if I owned a water proof jacket with a hoodMaybe I'll get one for Christmas...
8/27/2008 11:55:25 AM
rei is having a major sale at the moment... ^
8/27/2008 11:56:15 AM
I love when it rains!I like to buy fun and bright rain gear to make the day more happy!I can break out my bright yellow trench coat and pink paisley umbrella (or polka dot..I have like 4 umbrellas). I don't have wellies though, but I should I wore bright shoes to make up for it!
8/27/2008 11:56:24 AM
i've seen a lot of females in rainbows today
8/27/2008 11:56:59 AM

[Edited on August 27, 2008 at 12:12 PM. Reason : and i dont walk around campus much these days.]
8/27/2008 12:11:06 PM
seems like a hassle to avoid carrying that shamefully feminine accessory, the umbrella
8/27/2008 12:12:22 PM
umbrellas are more of a hassle for me than a jacket. i use that bag or shoes regardless if its raining, they are just prepared for whatever. umbrellas serve no other purpose, so you have to carry one around allll the time if you are not prepared with your normal attire.
8/27/2008 12:14:15 PM
what about the rain jacket? that's not your normal attire. and walks around campus are usually short enough that rain won't soak through a normal backpack
8/27/2008 12:16:46 PM
I keep a small, compact umbrella in my back pack. Its convenient, much more so than dragging a jacket or something around.
8/27/2008 12:17:01 PM
if you didn't geuss, i don't hate the rain. i actually don't melt if i get wet. i am not sure where this is going.....i just don't like umbrellas. I am often on a bike/skateboard and then what? duct tape the umbrella to my shoulder? usually the only time i find myself holding and umbrella is when i am carrying it for a girl. jackets and other waterproof gear just appeal to me more, as they have more functionality and versatility.
8/27/2008 12:20:12 PM
skating on wet bricks is just begging to get dumped on your ass anyway
8/27/2008 12:24:49 PM
yea, esp in the spring when all that pollen gets soaked and slippery.
8/27/2008 12:25:43 PM
Would you hold my pink umbrella for me?
