Has anyone ever been to one of the NC gamelands managed for Doves?

Yes, it sucked and was dangerous.

Usually the managed gamelands are loaded with doves, but with lots of people.

I'll be hunting Monday for doves, next weekend for geese. Both in Alamance County.

I've been to the ones around Jordan Lake a few times. They weren't too bad. The past few years I've used the ones on Bragg and cleaned up. If you manage to get on post shoot me a PM and I'll let you know what has worked for me.

Yes, we eat the doves. They're really good if you know what you're doing. My Mama makes THE BEST dove hash you've ever put in your mouth.

We just changed out Monday plans. Gonna goose hunt in the morning, and dove hunt in the afternoon. Goose hunting is SOOOO much fun!
