attn: bobbydigital

when (if ever) will the cisco vpn client support SBL for vista? i really need this
we use group auth so i can't use the built-in windows client & cached domain logons only work for so long

to answer evan's question, the answer is apparently never.

check out CSCse47544

I don't work directly with this product, so i'm not sure why we would decide not to make the requisite changes to make it work without GINA...


EDIT: I think i found out why. The old VPN client is being phased out, and the SBL functionality is in the AnyConnect client.

i thought the AnyConnect client didn't support ipsec though

hmm, that would be a problem, ipsec support is on the roadmap, but not committed yet from what i'm seeing.

i'm not well enough versed with VPN tech to figure out a workaround.
