you have to go through the birthing process again with at least 1 licensed doctor and 1 additional witness. you'll have to contact your mother to arrange a time for re-entry into the womb. immediately upon (re-)exit, she will have to sign a statement attesting to your re-occupation of her womb and will have to get this statement notarized. the doctor and the witness will fill out a "Re-Birthing Witness Testimony" form which will also need to be signed and notarized. Afterwards, gather all of these documents and mail them to:

Magistrate of Birth Certificates
3438 Hardesty Street
Albany, NY 12210

You'll receive a mailed confirmation stating that they received your documents. There will be a pin number on the confirmation letter that you use as your login at http://www.bornagain.org
You can request a copy of the birth certificate at the website from then on. Let me know if you have any difficulties with the process. I've done it and it's really not as much hassle as it sounds. Good luck!
