OK now we all learned last time looting beer will get you wasted but will not pay your crack dealer for very long. So lets strategize for some nice crack cash this time.
TV's can be big and bulky, plus hard to transport in a boat in any decent quantity.

So here are this season's target items. Jewelry, watches, handguns, expensive liquor, anything small and valuable and easy to liquidate on the BLACK market. Although TV's are nice, limit it to one or two for personal use. Computer components are good too, CPU's Memory chips, Laptops, expensive software and flat panel monitors 24 inch or higher are good targets.

Be sure to plan in advance a storage area on high ground to store your loot until the Internet comes back online and you can Ebay or Craigs list that stuff.

First you will want to hit a sporting goods store so you can get some survival gear and night vision binoculars to watch out for the man. Be sure to get a few inflatable rafts with motors, you will need to take several trips to your stash location. Right before the wind starts be sure you have plenty of gas in a few cans.

OK good luck, if you mess this one up hurricane Hannah is coming soon, so look at this as a practice run.

it's not like the store could sell the bottles after the storm. I doubt health codes would allow it. dude's just making the best of a bad situation

So are you in the pro beer looting party, or the anti beer looting party?

sure it's illegal. but here the merchandise will be unusable after sitting in a flooded store for a few weeks. I don't see how liberating that merchandise is hurting anyone.

If you're in the middle of a flood zone then yes, it would be completely understandable.

Up to their old tricks again!

Governor: Gunmen fired at MPs protecting supplies in Louisiana

Quote :
"Gov. Bobby Jindal says members of the National Guard came under fire this morning in Ville Platte, La.

"Sometime after midnight, somewhere between two and three criminals, we believe they were attempting to loot those supplies, actually opened fire," he says. "They fired about five or six shots at the National Guardsmen. The MPs, the military police, that were there took shelter behind their military vehicle. They returned fire with their M-16 rifles. The criminals fled."

No one was injured in the exchange of gunfire, he says.

The gunmen are at large. "I would just ask our people to continue to be vigilant about their safety," he says.

Update at 11:24 a.m. ET: Rick Breitenfeldt, a National Guard spokesman, tells USA TODAY that the soldiers were protecting three 18-wheelers carrying hurricane-related supplies in Evangeline Parish."
