..evolution of such policies.

As a liberal wanting to know my parties policy,
I've been researching the things that obama plans to do to help our energy independence and help the economy in the process.

So far my results have been

1. [crickets]

2. filling up my tires with more air. (what retards are driving around with flat tires??)

3. Provide short-term relief to American families facing pain at the pump
Help create five million new jobs by strategically investing $150 billion over the next ten years to catalyze private efforts to build a clean energy future. (HOW CAN YOU MAGICALLY MAKE JOBS LIKE THIS?)

4. Within 10 years save more oil than we currently import from the Middle East and Venezuela combined. (HOW CAN YOU SAVE MORE OIL IF MORE ISN'T BEING PRODUCED?)

5. Put 1 million Plug-In Hybrid cars -- cars that can get up to 150 miles per gallon -- on the road by 2015, cars that we will work to make sure are built here in America. (ARE WE GOING TO FORCE PEOPLE TO BUY HYBRIDS? I GUESS SO IF THERE'S NO GAS SUPPLY)

6. Ensure 10 percent of our electricity comes from renewable sources by 2012, and 25 percent by 2025. (SOLAR AND WIND POWER ARE MORE CENTS PER WATT THAN ANY OTHER ENERGY, SO I GUESS THE ECONOMY WILL FAIL IF THIS PASSES)

7. Implement an economy-wide cap-and-trade program to reduce greenhouse gas emissions 80 percent by 2050. (JUST THINK, IF YOU USE UP ALL YOUR WELFARE ALLOCATED ELECTRICITY THE GOVT WILL CUT YOU OFF FOR THE MONTH???)

I'd like to hear some words of encouragement from fellow citizens. So far my findings from fellow liberals have been mixed signals and no real plan.(not just using obamas plan)

Whatcha got guys?

I vote for South America. A little rainforest for a lot of ethanol seems like a good deal to me.

There is that (it's not zero, the uranium needs to be mined and processed, but we know what you mean).

^ It won't always be true, but by the time it's cheaper than coal, we'll all be driving fusion-powered cars running on water, so we won't give a damn.

That algae ethanol stuff is pretty cool. There's a guy in Texas that's developed a way to grow it on rotating sheets. The Department of Energy is paying him big bucks to further develop it apparently.

As a liberal wanting to know my parties policy,
I've been researching the things that obama plans to do to help our energy independence and help the economy in the process.

So far my results have been

1. [crickets] you gotta flip that switch to your brain on

2. filling up my tires with more air. (what retards are driving around with flat tires??)believe it or not but there are a lot of people who drive around with under inflated tires.

3. Provide short-term relief to American families facing pain at the pump
Help create five million new jobs by strategically investing $150 billion over the next ten years to catalyze private efforts to build a clean energy future. (HOW CAN YOU MAGICALLY MAKE JOBS LIKE THIS?) its called shifting monetary allocations. you see if we weren't spending billions of dollars in reconstructing Iraq after spending billions of dollars demolishing it then we could use those billions of dollars to do other cool stuff

4. Within 10 years save more oil than we currently import from the Middle East and Venezuela combined. (HOW CAN YOU SAVE MORE OIL IF MORE ISN'T BEING PRODUCED?) i'll use an example so that your small brain can comprehend. imagine that you like rice and you eat a lot of it. you buy 20% of your rice from Food Lion and 80% from Kroger. you want to reduce the amount of of rice that you eat by 25%, so in a way you have reduced the amount of rice by more then what you buy at Food Lion

5. Put 1 million Plug-In Hybrid cars -- cars that can get up to 150 miles per gallon -- on the road by 2015, cars that we will work to make sure are built here in America. (ARE WE GOING TO FORCE PEOPLE TO BUY HYBRIDS? I GUESS SO IF THERE'S NO GAS SUPPLY) force, no, encourage yes. i'm sure there will be incentives for buying hybrid cars beyond the fuel savings.

6. Ensure 10 percent of our electricity comes from renewable sources by 2012, and 25 percent by 2025. (SOLAR AND WIND POWER ARE MORE CENTS PER WATT THAN ANY OTHER ENERGY, SO I GUESS THE ECONOMY WILL FAIL IF THIS PASSES)supply and demand. the more solar and wind power we have the cheaper it will get. on the flip side of the coin, the less fossil fuels that we have the more expensive coal power will get.

7. Implement an economy-wide cap-and-trade program to reduce greenhouse gas emissions 80 percent by 2050. (JUST THINK, IF YOU USE UP ALL YOUR WELFARE ALLOCATED ELECTRICITY THE GOVT WILL CUT YOU OFF FOR THE MONTH???)i don't even know what to say about this one

Not that I'm a green liberal but i wouldn't try to argue the neo-con plan is better

Neo Con George W USA #1 Plan-

1.) Give favorable tax cuts, subsidies, and trade agreements to your oil buddies and family friends chillin in Saudi Arabia.

2.) Talk about energy independence and allocate a 'token' amount of the budget for R&D into alternative fuel. In reality this is only pocket change of the the budget.

3.) Start wars against and remove evil dictators whose country just "coincedently" has to be on the world's 2nd largest oil reserve. Lucky US and for our new Iraqi allies!

4.) Bulldoze and drill for oil wherever the hell we please w/o any regards to the environment.

5.) Celebrate with our friends in ExXon Mobil when them and 4 other of our Big Oil friends "coincedently" enter the top 10 most profitable countries in the US.

6.) Instead of using science to disprove the magnitude of global warming; blindly deny its existence while preaching that god would never let global warming happen.

See, the problem with all those ideas is like trying to play god with it and force the issue.

If coal prices rice, we'll stop using it and start going solar and wind.

Why make a shit stain of ourselves and let the russians and chinese steal it all b/c we all know they will if we don't.

This survival of the fittest world ain't getting any weaker and that's exactly what the democrats want to turn us into.. a weak bunch of monkeys that are all equal and have perfect tolerance for the faggots/ losers and the weak amongst us.

Just let society play itself out. If humans are that retarded then so be it.
