I hate socialism because I simply do not trust the government. The more they give, the more they'll take, and I'm not willing to accept either. I oppose any taxes that don't have to do with infrastructure (roads, utilities), defense, and the logistics therein.

I want the ability to provide for my family, not the means themselves.

i'm sorry you don't see the health and education of the general public (regardless of whether or not they were born with a silver spoon in their collective mouth) as being as important as good roads or utilities...i'm not SURPRISED, since republicans generally can't see past their own white picket fences and/or church walls

the simple fact of the matter is that capitalism (both in the strictest sense and the version we have going on right now) is neither sustainable nor ideal...if you don't understand this (don't be ashamed if you don't, a lot of people don't understand it), you should read up on economics and social structure...capitalism is a great way to jump start a fledgling or foundering economy, but it's complete and total ignorance to think that it can remain as such for very long
