The only movies with vin diesel i've seen are the iron giant and saving private ryan, and i'm not about to change that.

Ok, I'll be a little more descriptive. It started out alright and fairly promising, with a usual vin Diesel super agent killing intro. Then about half way through the writers and directors had no idea what was going on so they made everything else up as they went along and made sure vin Diesel killed as many people as possible.

And the ending...well, its just plain special, I'll say that.

i've heard the studio apparently took complete control from the director and ruined (by ruined, i mean made a bad movie even worse) the entire second half of the movie.

the director and cast want nothing to do with the project now.

won't see it.

I unfortunately saw the movie. The premise had a lot of promise, but it fell apart pretty quickly. I can see the things that federal pointed out: it really looks like someone took a chainsaw to the movie and hacked out all plot development. At a running time of a mere 1:30, that further confirms it.

i usually have to see sci-fi movies, no matter what

but... I think I'm going to go with the lack of pre-screening and other bad indicators on this one

I'm kind of interested to see what Vin Diesel does with his upcoming Hannibal movie.

He's apparently acting, directing, and producing it, which doesn't sound promising. But apparently Hannibal is his favorite historical figure, so hopefully it's at least accurate.
