TWW used to attract more people because it was known for being the cutting edge as far as news, trolls, attention whores, comedy, insults, technology, etc. moreso, the people that would bring this to TWW were the best at what we did.
most of us grew up and left....only to be replaced by what you see here today

Here's the thing. I've maintained for a long time that I am not trolling. What I am doing is observing posting patterns and behaviors, and using that to flame posters when I deem them idiots or they do or post stuff that just rubs me the wrong way.

For example, flaming OmarBadu. I haven't done this just for shits and giggles, but rather, I've noticed that Omar is a grade A bitch about a lot of things on this website. I percieved that he was harboring a ton of childhood angst. He's extremely passive aggressive about a lot of stuff. The lewoods thread is a perfect example. Just what the fuck is wrong with a ~30 yr old married man that he would fuck with a user by moving her very legitimate thread from The Lounge to Chit Chat, just to see the shit storm? That's fucked up. Marko doesn't do that shit. CarZin doesn't. Bobby doesn't. theDuke doesn't. Anyway, shit like this gets my goat, and it makes me want to flame someone, it's different from trolling. I agree with everything EMCE says. T-dub simply isn't relevant anymore. When I first joined, I remember t-dub being this zany, wildly unpredictable place that you either "got" or you didn't. In a way, that was t-dub's trade mark. But now imo it's become fairly tame and played out. Maybe it's because I've gotten older? I don't know, but this place just isn't as much fun as it used to be.

That and there's now tons of other forums all over the internet that one can be a part of, and they all cater to specific interests. Who does t-dub cater to or appeal to anymore? Who is t-dub aimed at? Supposedly NC State students, but what is here to unite them under this particular forum? What remains here for any of us to give a damn?
