i mostly grew up in wilmington so I go to see Bertha, Fran, Floyd, Bonnie, Dennis, and Charley. I would agree that Hanna is small compared to some, but being inland doesn't always save you either. Take Fran for example, my family evacuated to Raleigh and there was more damage there then anywhere we saw in Wilmington...

my fams had property at the coast for over 10 years now and ive seen my share of damage.

but not necessarily the coast, but other places, we feel the out rim of a hurricane and think it wasnt much, yet people closer to the hurricane are trying to rebuild what they've lost.

we too have been very very lucky with storms at the coast.

you guys act like a hurricane isnt anything special.
