i just finished a few weeks of hauling 2 wet (shedding) dogs and oak logs for firewood...so my car is absolutely trashed (it smells funny, there's dog fur everywhere, and chunks/bits of bark on every surface)
at this point, i think it's more efficient for me to pay someone else to clean it...i don't care if it's meticulously perfect...just that it's generally CLEAN again...so value is all i'm looking for, not the "best" 9/4/2008 10:35:20 AM |

Bunkey's is fairly reasonable and they do a good job, you can get a basic wash / vacuum / detail for like $30 if I recall correctly. If you're in the triangle there's one off Glenwood near Blue Ridge and one off 15-501 in Durham 9/4/2008 10:44:25 AM |

Check out my recent post in the classifieds.
Dont settle for the "cheap" and "quick" detail shops, they do more damage and harm than good and could end up costing you more money in the end. 9/16/2008 9:32:08 PM |

Sudz on Peace Street is the greatest place ever
$20 they'll detail your car inside and out and hand wax your car.

^ calm down, it's going to be okay...i don't think it's unreasonable to expect a $25-30 BASIC detailing job...just because some people are willing to spend $rhodeisland on making sure their ride looks like it just came out of the showroom, i am not, and their expensive services are of absolutely no value to me 9/16/2008 11:32:58 PM |
