mine has a gate that COULD be programmed with a code. instead, we pay homeowner's dues and the HO decides we don't need to lock the gate
give me my money back then, bitches. 9/7/2008 7:20:06 PM |

my apt complex has a gate. but there are no rich people here. so it is a cheap gate. it always breaks down. during storms if the power goes out, the gate shuts down, while closed.. so no one can get out until maintenance fixes it. half the time the gates are always open.
if you have a functional gate, take every advantage that you can 9/7/2008 7:22:48 PM |

lol i had one of these when i lived at village green
biggest waste of money evar
we all had prox badges, but if you knew someone, you could get the code that would open it, everyone ended up giving it out to all their friends.
plus people just tailgated behind everyone else...
now, if they were like the ones we have at SAS, that'd be awesome only way to get in is via prox badge or knox box key. when you swipe your card, the gates open, and they immediately close after the IR sensor has detected your car is through. 9/7/2008 10:20:36 PM |

oh there are sensors to detect the car and lower the arm while the gates close
the sensor is just in the wrong spot so it stays open/up just long enough for another car to trip the sensor9/7/2008 11:06:17 PM |
